Mrs. Caroline Ambrose

Hello, my name is Mrs. Ambrose, and welcome to our 3rd Grade classroom. As an Alumna of Holy Cross Elementary, I feel blessed to be teaching in the Holy Cross School Community.

The 3rd Grade classroom at Holy Cross Elementary is filled with opportunities for students to expand their sense of personal responsibility, and further, to grow spiritually, academically, and socially through participation in both individual and group projects.

In the 3rd Grade classroom, students will improve their skills in reading comprehension, verbal expression and written expression. Additionally, each day students will cover a new lesson plan in the subjects of Religion, Science, Math, English/Language Arts and Social Studies. The 3rd Grade classroom is provided with five computers, including a smart board, for enrichment and global learning.

Finally, students will participate weekly in Music, Art, Physical Education (PE), Computer Lab, Library and Spanish classes. I will be working closely with our computer teacher, Mrs. Krage, to coordinate and apply classroom lessons to computer lab exercises. I will also be working closely with our Librarian, Mrs. Prince, to plan projects which incorporate reading comprehension and enrichment activities in the library.
