An environment, fostering exploration, independence, collaboration and a strong emphasis on Catholic values, exists in Second Grade. Creative individual and group projects are integrated into all subjects to support and extend the curriculum as well as develop critical thinking skills.

Catholic students in 2nd grade receive First Penance and 1st Holy Communion.
