As the teacher of teachers, I manage the Staff Development for
technology and coordinate the integration of technology throughout the
curriculum. This aspect of my job represents two significant pieces
of the total puzzle, teacher of teachers and leader of the
technology program. So many times we read about computers, scanners,
cameras and other equipment sitting idle in schools. Why aren’t the
teachers using the equipment? Why aren’t the students using the equipment
to enhance their learning? These responsibilities represent nearly
30% of my time, but are perhaps the most important aspects of my job.
Without proper training, the faculty would not be able to successfully
integrate technology throughout their teaching, their student projects,
and to their own work. Click on the following links to understand my philosophy
