As educators we strive to prepare our students for the 21st century, an era of communication and technology. We can achieve that goal through the efforts of dedicated teachers and an effective technology program. As the technology coordinator at Holy Cross School, it is my responsibility and privilege to design and manage the technology program, to educate the students, and to prepare and implement staff development. The three components of my job each represent a piece of a larger puzzle. When the components successfully combine as a completed puzzle, the result is an engaging learning environment for students and teachers. This teaching portfolio will provide illustrations of my work and personal growth in each piece of that puzzle. Presentations, reference papers, staff development training, lesson plans, student work, personal reflections, and other artifacts are incorporated in the portfolio. It is a work-in-progress and reflects the dynamic nature of technology. The preparation of this portfolio has provided me with the opportunity to reflect upon the critical aspects of my career and to appreciate the complexities of educational computing. Please enjoy yourself as you wander through the various puzzle pieces of my academic portfolio. Note that the colors of the links match the colors of the puzzle. CLICK HERE TO ENTER THE PORTFOLIO.
